Superfast (30 Mbit/s or more)
What do superfast, gigabit and decent mean?
Superfast is 30 Mbit/s or more. Gigabit is 1,000 Mbit/s, which full fibre and the newest cable networks can give. Decent is the government's minimum: 10 Mbit/s down and 1 Mbit/s up.
The figures are what a line can reach, not the speed of any one package or the speed you will see in the evening.
Why does my address get something different?
These are shares of every home and business at the postcode, from Ofcom. Two homes in one postcode can be on different lines. Ofcom's own checker, and each provider's, answer for one address.

Ofcom does not give full fibre for a single postcode, so we show it for whole council areas only. Gigabit is the nearest figure for one postcode: most gigabit lines are full fibre.
