How we use it
The government’s National Chargepoint Registry closed on 28 November 2024 and no single free national list has replaced it, so we use the open map, which volunteers keep and which does not have every charger. Our copy of every charging station mapped in the United Kingdom comes from Geofabrik’s download of the whole map as it was on 23 October 2026, and is refreshed weekly.
