How we use it

England: the NHS Business Services Authority’s Consolidated Pharmaceutical List, published every three months, with the opening hours each pharmacy has given; appliance contractors, which supply stoma and continence products, are left out. Its phone numbers come from the NHS Organisation Data Service, matched by each pharmacy’s NHS code, and each one opens its page on the NHS website. Wales: the NHS Organisation Data Service’s list of pharmacies. Scotland: Public Health Scotland’s dispenser details, published monthly, named as the contractor is registered. A day whose hours are written in a way we cannot read leaves the week’s hours out rather than showing them wrong. Placed at each pharmacy’s postcode centre; distances are straight lines. The lists do not say which pharmacies work online or by post only.
