How we use it

The Agency publishes surface water risk for each local authority, not for each postcode: the properties in an area at high, medium and low risk, and each as a share of all the authority’s properties. A postcode page shows its council’s figures and says that they are for the whole council. A county council’s page adds up its districts’ counts and gives no share, since shares cannot be added.
